You qualify for a free check if:
- You are aged 40 years or older, and
- You live in England, and
- You have not previously been diagnosed with high blood pressure, and
- You haven't had your blood pressure checked by a healthcare professional in the past 6 months.
*Adults under 40 with a strong family history of early cardiovascular disease may also be eligible at the pharmacist's discretion.
1. Clinic Reading
A pharmacist takes a comfortable reading in our private consultation room using a calibrated blood pressure monitor. We explain your systolic and diastolic numbers immediately.
2. 24-Hour ABPM
If your clinic reading is elevated, we can fit a free 24-hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor (ABPM) that automatically measures your blood pressure as you go about your normal day and sleep.
3. GP Follow-Up
We securely notify your GP practice with your results. If treatment is indicated, your GP receives complete diagnostic data to initiate care without duplicate testing.
