Accessibility Features Implemented
- Skip to Content Link: A dedicated skip-link at the very top of every page allows keyboard and screen reader users to bypass header navigation immediately.
- High-Contrast Colour Tokens: All text complies with WCAG AA minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1. Where green appears as text on white backgrounds, an accessible dark emerald variant (
#157347with a 5.1:1 ratio) is strictly enforced. - Keyboard Accessibility: All interactive elements, links, buttons, accordions, and modals can be navigated and activated using the Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, and Spacebar keys. Focus indicators are prominently styled with
:focus-visible. - ARIA Landmarks & Roles: Pages use HTML5 semantic landmarks (
header,nav,main,article,footer) alongside descriptivearia-label,aria-expanded, andaria-haspopupattributes. - Clear Typography: High-legibility fonts (Poppins and Nunito Sans) with comfortable line-heights and scalable font sizes.
- Motion Sensitivity: Interactive animations respect the
prefers-reduced-motionuser setting.
