Community Guidelines
Standards of Conduct: Respectful, safe, evidence-based healthcare communication
Queensway Chemist strives to foster a welcoming, supportive, and informative online community across our health guides, feedback forms, and public communications. These guidelines help keep our community constructive, safe, and respectful.
1. Protect Your Personal Medical Privacy
Never publish personal medical details in public forums: Do not disclose medical diagnoses, prescription names, NHS numbers, or private symptoms in public comments or social channels. For personal health advice, speak with our pharmacist in our private consultation room or over the phone at 0161 946 0834.
2. Evidence-Based Health Discourse
Public health decisions affect lives. To protect community wellbeing, we do not tolerate the spreading of medical misinformation, unverified cures, or harmful assertions contradicting NHS, MHRA, or NICE guidance. All health guides published on this website are written and reviewed by registered healthcare professionals.
3. Respectful Communication
We expect all visitors and community members to treat others with kindness and dignity. The following behaviours will result in immediate removal and moderation:
- Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
- Defamatory or abusive statements directed at pharmacy team members or fellow community members.
- Commercial advertising, affiliate links, or spam solicitations.
4. Moderation & Enforcement
We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any comments, questions, or submissions that violate these guidelines without prior notice. Persistent offenders may be blocked from future participation across our digital channels.
5. Questions & Feedback
If you have questions about our community standards, or wish to report content that violates these principles, please contact community@queenswaychemist.co.uk.
